The Philippine Festival at Yoyogi Park serves as a celebration of the country's rich culture. Held in conjunction with the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo, the event will include a variety of music and dance performances, plus the promotion of Filipino products, services, and tourist hot spots.
In addition, the festival will showcase Filipino cuisine, with a wide array of gastronomic delights on offer from all regions of the country.
Admission to the event itself is free of charge, but do bring yen if you plan on grabbing a bite to eat.
Getting there
Yoyogi Park can be accessed within five minutes on foot from Harajuku Station, which is served by the JR Yamanote Line. Other train stations in close walking distance include the Tokyo Metro's Meijijingumae Station and Yoyogi Koen Station. As parking around the area is limited, visiting via public transport is recommended.
