Coffee Sanjikken in Aoyama

Time flows slowly at this single-origin coffee cafe

You may find many sophisticated cafes in the Omotesando & Aoyama areas, but the problem is that they are usually fairly busy and crowded. This isn't true though of Coffee Sanjikken, located a three-minute walk from Tokyo Metro's Omotesando Station.

Sanjikken offers nine varieties of single-origin specialty coffee. Each variety offered has a great aroma with the coffee beans roasted at Yanaka Coffee, one of Tokyo's famed coffee beans specialty shops.

You will have two servings of coffee in a pot with either whipped cream or foamed milk. If you select foamed milk, you may want to add it to the second serve to make a café latte after enjoying the drip coffee in the first serve. Cheesecakes, chiffon cakes, and scones are also available.

Coffee Sanjikken is spacious, quiet and its relaxing atmosphere lends itself to sitting back with a good book or even business meetings.

Coffee of the Day here will set you back 750 yen or (1250 yen with a cheesecake serving) and is worth every yen.

Getting there

Take the Hanzomon or Ginza Subway Line to Omotesando Station. Coffee Sanjikken is a 3-minute walk from the B2 Exit.
