If you're a foodie with a love for noodles, the Sapporo Ramen Show in Hokkaido is an event you won't want to miss. The annual festival is a celebration of this extremely popular dish, and it showcases some of the best ramen offerings from across the country. From rich tonkotsu broths to flavorful miso varieties and everything in between, there's something for just about everyone's taste preferences at the event.

The festival will NOT be held on May 20.
Getting there
The Sapporo Ramen Show takes place at Odori Park, which can be accessed in three minutes on foot from Exit 4 of Nishi-Jūitchōme Station (Tōzai Line) or five minutes on foot from Exit 1 of Odori Station (served by the Namboku Line, the Tōzai Line, and the Tōhō Line).
