<p>The icing cookies are cute little pieces of art.</p>

<p>The cafe is open from 9:30am to 5:00pm.</p>

<p>Almost everything on the menu is between ¥500 - ¥650.  </p>

<p>On my last visit, I enjoyed a very interesting pound cake with my cafe latte - blue cheese and dried fig.</p>

<p>The cafe is on a quiet, cobblestone-paved street.</p>

<p>Cafe Syrup is closed on Thursdays (for the icing cookie classes) and on Sundays.</p>

<p>There are different flowers on the tables each day - a nice touch.</p>

Relax in this quaint little cafe and enjoy some homemade cookies, cheesecake, or one of their interesting varieties of pound cake. Although it has syrup in its name, the specialty is icing cookies. You can eat them on on-site, join a class and learn how to make them, or order some to be specially designed for you.

The cafe is a short walk from exit #2 of Ontakesan Station on the Tokyu Ikegami Line. Walk down the shotengai away from the train tracks. Cross one street, and the cafe will be the third building on your right.
