A robot standing in front of Diver City Tokyo Plaza in Odaiba is a real-size model of a robot weapon in the popular animation series, “Mobile Suit Gundam.” It was broadcast on TV here in Japan in 1979, and then was featured in many movies. The main character uses the robot to win battles in a war. This Gundam stands under the sky, showing its huge, cool, and powerful body (it's 18 meters high, and a whopping 43.4 tons). Boys from that time have become fathers now, and they get excited to see this real-size Gundam with their children. Actually, they look happier than their children!
