Jiyugaoka Bakeshop is a great place to start the day before browsing zakka stores in Jiyugaoka (Meguro ward).

Located on the 4th floor of the Idee shop, this café and bakery serves breakfast fare starting at 10:30am weekdays and 9:30am on weekends. Lunch and dinner are also available. Hearty breakfast choices include huevos rancheros, pancakes, bacon and eggs and a variety of amazing baked goods. Everything is delicious and the décor, which is an eclectic mix of vintage furniture, comic art, and kitschy objects, is homey and relaxing.
