While Japan may be best known for its seafood, there are also a wide range of popular meat dishes here - gyudon (beef bowls), tonkatsu (deep fried pork cutlets), and shabu-shabu (thinly sliced meat and other goodies cooked in water) are just naming a few. The annual "THE MEAT OSAKA" celebrates these carnivorous delights and more, with plenty of both domestic and international meat-based dishes to enjoy.
Alongside THE MEAT OSAKA, there will also be a Tokyo-based event during the same timeframe. You can find details about Niku Fes Tokyo at the following link.
Admission to the event itself is free, and meal tickets are priced at 700 yen each.
Getting there
THE MEAT OSAKA event will take place at Nagai Park. The venue is located approximately two minutes on foot from Nagai Station, which is served by the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and the JR Hanwa Line.
