A Taiwan Festival takes place at Tokyo's Yoyogi Park each year, in a large-scale celebration of food and culture. If you're not in Tokyo, though, there is another opportunity to get your fix – at the Taiwan Festival in Miyazaki.
The event is set to include a variety of delicious Taiwanese eats, including the likes of xiao long bao (soup dumplings), beef noodle soup, and even bubble tea if you find yourself getting thirsty.
If you do plan on visiting, please note that the event operating hours differ slightly from weekdays to weekends:
- Weekdays: 11:00 until 20:00
- Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: 11:00 until 21:00
There is no admission fee to enjoy the atmosphere of the event, but do bring yen if you plan on purchasing food or drinks.
Getting there
The event takes place at Aeon Mall Miyazaki, which is located around 10 minutes by car from Miyazaki Station (Nippō Main Line). On-site parking is available.
