The Beach Burger House

An American-style beachside diner in Miyazaki

Japan certainly isn't all sushi and ramen when it comes to the cuisine on offer, and here are plenty of destinations to enjoy high quality, hearty burgers across the country. One such option in Miyazaki is The Beach Burger House, which is operated by the same company that owns Tokyo's The Great Burger and Osaka's Critters Burger. Located within the Miyazaki Rinkai Park, the restaurant has an American beachside diner vibe with a menu to match.

Naturally, burgers are the main focus of the offerings here, and there are several types of them available. Guests can choose from staples like bacon cheeseburgers and avocado burgers through to more inventive creations like the egg burger, teriyaki burger, and the grilled pineapple burger for a taste of the tropics. All burgers are served with a side of fries, but there are numerous other side dishes like chili con carne, beer battered onion rings, mashed potatoes, and homemade pickles to complement your meal with if you choose.

It's not just burgers available here, though. Another of the highlights is their all-day breakfast menu, which includes choices like pancakes, chicken and waffles, panini sandwiches, house-made granola, omelets, or steak and eggs cooked however you'd like. Drink options are also plentiful, and include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

If you plan to stop by, please note that the restaurant is closed every Tuesday and on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. Please also note that whilst the opening hours are from 11am until 5pm, last orders are taken at 4pm.

Getting there

The Beach Burger House is located within Miyazaki Rinkai Park, and can be accessed in 10 minutes by taxi from either Miyazaki or Miyazaki-Jingu Stations on the Nippō Main Line.

For those who opt to drive, on-site parking is available.
