Nagoya Port Sea Train Land hosts an illumination event in the winter months each year, which boasts over 50,000 festive lights scattered around the amusement park. It's a great spot for a date night, some family fun, or even a night out with some friends. Best of all, admission to the event itself is free, but do bring some yen if you plan to go on any of the rides - they're charged individually.
Getting there
Nagoya Port Sea Train Land is located approximately five minutes on foot from Exit 3 of Nagoyako Station, served by the Nagoya Municipal Subway Meiko Line.
For those who plan to drive, take the Tsukijiguchi IC from Route 23, and the venue is around 5 minutes from there. Paid on-site parking is available.
