A special exhibition taking place at the Okazaki City Art Museum in Aichi looks at the works of Mitsuaki Iwago, a famous animal photographer. The event will focus on photos that depict animal families, particularly from the cat species. Iwago is very well-versed in all things feline, and some visitors may already be familiar with his work - he created the NHK wildlife documentary series titled "Mitsuaki Iwago's World Cats Travelogue".
Adult admission to the event is priced at 1200 yen.
Getting there
The Okazaki City Art Museum can be conveniently accessed by bus from the Higashi Okazaki Station, which is served by the Meitetsu Nagoya Line. Head out of the north exit to bus stop #2, and take the bus bound for Okazaki Central Park. Alight at the Art Museum stop, and the venue is a 5 minute walk away.
