The Toy Story series was produced by Pixar Animation Studios, and follows the adventures of a group of toys including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and many others, as they navigate the challenges and joys of life as playthings. The first film, released in 1995, was the first fully computer-animated feature film and became an instant classic. Sequels followed, and the popularity of the series hasn't waned at all. In fact, in Japan many would argue it has grown, with a Toy Story Hotel opening at Tokyo Disney Resort just last year.
For fans of the franchise, there's a way you can connect with Toy Story via food in Japan this spring – there are themed pop-up cafe events taking place in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya! The food takes on three "toy room" inspired menus, with some of the fun dishes including Woody's Tomato Pasta and Buzz's Space Ranger curry (both ¥2,299 including tax), or Jessie's cowgirl barbecue chicken sandwich (¥2,519 including tax). There are themed desserts and drinks, too, if you want to go all out with your meal.

Be sure to note that the pop-up cafes run for different dates in the different cities. The dates are as follows:
- Tokyo: April 28th to July 9th
- Osaka: April 27th to June 18th
- Nagoya: April 29th to June 18th
