The Excitement of Tokyo Tower

Interesting place to visit when you feel bored

At the top you feel as if the world is very small and you are very important while you watch the city breathe beneath you.

Tokyo Tower can be seen from afar and it is an important part of the city of Tokyo.

These guys are waiting at the base of the tower to greet you; they are the mascots of Tokyo Tower.

There is a local crepe shop that sells both sweet and normal meals type of crepes for you to enjoy before going inside the tower.

I ordered a chicken chili pepper crepe and it was delicious; it is also a lot of fun to eat right under the big shadow of the tower.

Once you go up you can have a wonderful 360 degrees view of Tokyo.

There is a display of a mysterious basketball that was found at the top of the tower's antenna in 2012 when they opened it up to upgrade it for the new TV signal.

You can see the Tokyo bay area from the viewing space including Rainbow Bridge and on the left side the Fuji Television building.

Looking down you can also see the top of Zojoji temple that is sitting at the base of the tower; it looks incredible in the midday sun.

Once at the viewing deck level, you can also choose to purchase a medal of the Tokyo Tower and you have the chance to have your name and the date engraved on the medal as well.

From another angle of the viewing area you can see Tokyo Sky Tree in the distance.

On one of the viewing decks there is also a coffee shop where you can buy some food and a lot of different desserts.

It is a very cool experience to eat the dessert while looking down at the city and actually have some time to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Latest on Tokyo Tower

There is a small park near the tower through which you can walk and relax; after that you can purchase a delicious crepe and take some photos with the nearby tower mascots. Once you enter, there's a room where you can see different photos of the construction of Tokyo Tower as well as some videos as well. From the viewing deck you have an incredible 360 degrees view of the city, and to remember your visit you can even purchase a medal on which you have the option to engrave your name and the date of your visit.
