Latest on Tokyo TowerThe digital art collective NAKED Inc. has organized a number of different seasonal projection mapping events at Tokyo Tower, and their newest one will take on a Halloween theme. The City Light Fantasia Halloween Party event is set to include displays of autumn leaves and pampas grass alongside ghosts, witches, and bats, providing a fun spooky season experience.
The event starts on September 13th and runs right until Halloween, but the hours differ depending on when you visit. From September 13th (Friday) until October 4th (Friday) the projection mapping runs from 18:00-22:20, and from October 5th (Saturday) until October 31st (Thursday) this extends to 17:30-22:50.
Enjoying the projection mapping requires admission to the main deck of Tokyo Tower, which is priced at ¥1200 for adults.
Getting there
Tokyo Tower is located approximately five minutes on foot from Akabanebashi Station, which is served by the Toei Oedo Line.
For those who opt to drive, the venue is around 7 minutes from the Shiba-Koen exit of the Shuto Expressway. Parking is available adjacent to the tower and is charged at 600 JPY for the first hour and then 300 JPY for every 30 minutes thereafter.
