Established in 1899, Suntory is one of the oldest companies that produces all kinds of drinks in Japan. You can even see their trademark all over the country. So, I was interested in visiting Suntory Musashino Brewery after a friend’s suggestion. The excursion was in Japanese as most of the visitors were Japanese – adults as well as kids. But, as the explanation went along with the demonstration, it was easy to understand. The tour guide told us how beer was made and all of the ingredients it comes from. The last part of the tour was trying different sorts of beer for adults and soft drinks for children. Then we could buy special sets at the gift shop. I enjoyed the tour a lot!
Tours take place every 30 minutes between 10am and 4pm.
Free shuttle bus from Bubaigawara Station (Keio and Nambu lines).
