Soro Senen is a Japanese pond garden. This beautiful garden off the beaten path of central Tokyo is a perfect space to unwind and reflect. Just a quick 10-minute walk from Hagashi-Koganei station this serene landscape transports you into a quiet oasis. At a cost of ¥100, the cobblestones paths will take you through the sanctuary and luscious greenery.
Soro Senen utilizes spring water. This spring water is one of Tokyo’s 57 natural springs. Stone statues and bamboo groves populate the garden, along with maps describing the areas different plaques informing each guest on different plant life. Truly a fascinating retreat.
