MOT Annual is a group exhibition featuring young Japanese artists, with a focus on a unique aspect of contemporary art. The 2020 event looks at the invisible powers around us such as gravity, magnetism, and friction, and the works on display will center around those themes.
Some of the artists involved with this year's event include Junya Kataoka and Rie Iwatake, who are known for kinetic art installations where physical energy forms like magnetism and wind are applied to everyday objects. Other exhibitors include Yoko Shimizu, Yuta Nakajima, Goh Uozumi, and Gaetan Kubo.
Adult admission to the special exhibition is priced at 1300 yen.
