Hello Kitty is a beloved character created by Sanrio, and she has been a pop culture phenomenon since her debut in 1974. With her cute appearance and iconic bow, she has captured the hearts of millions worldwide, and spawned a variety of merchandise ranging from toys to clothing and just about everything in between.
A special event coming to the Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji is set to pair Hello Kitty with food, at their themed lunch buffet. Running from the start of June until the end of August, the buffet includes a variety of tasty treats including Hello Kitty imprinted inari sushi and fruit sandwiches, tarts, cakes, and more. Inspiration for the foods on offer is also drawn from other Sanrio favorites like Kuromi and My Melody.
If you do plan to visit, please note that the buffet prices are different on weekdays compared to weekends. More information about pricing and reservations can be found on the Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji website.
Getting there
The Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji is located just three minutes on foot from Keio Hachioji Station, which is served by the Keio Line, or Hachioji Station on the JR Chūō Main Line, Yokohama Line, and Hachiko Line.
