On March 13th 2012, the third Plum Blossom Festival was held at the Expo Commemoration Park in Osaka.
Since 1998, the Expo Commemoration Park has been collecting new varieties of plum trees to make its plum grove the best grove in the world in terms of variety. The Natural and Cultural Gardens and Japanese Garden in the park have a total of 680 plum trees including 150 different varieties. Once you step inside these gardens, the sweet scent of the plum blossom envelops you. On every visit, Tower of the Sun, the symbol of Expo '70, inspires me to take pictures of plum trees and the tower together.
