You know how in movies, Japanese cities are depicted with large neon billboards and animated objects? Well, it's probably because of places like Dotonbori. During the day, you will notice the colourful painted shopfronts vividly illustrating the Japanese eating culture. At night, the streets and alleyways come to life with amazingly huge pufferfish lanterns and glowing lights outlining the facades.
Look out for the famous Glico sign when you are there!
