The city of Osaka needs no introduction. Blessed with amazing food, endless shopping neighborhoods, the beautiful Dotonbori River with bright neon lights, and Osaka Castle, a piece of traditional Japan. The only thing you'll be worrying about is a convenient place to stay and relax so you don't miss out on anything during your time here in this metropolitan city.

Your worries are over as HOTEL MYSTAYS Shinsaibashi is a fantastic accommodation for a trip to Osaka. The hotel is a traffic intersection away from Shinsaibashi, the premiere shopping destination in Osaka. This unique shopping arcade combines high-end fashion boutiques with retail chain stores and restaurants. Only a street away, Shinsaibashi is easily accessible by walking so you don't have to worry about the crowds on public transportation to and from HOTEL MYSTAYS Shinsaibashi.

Just reopened in April 2015, the updated interior of HOTEL MYSTAYS Shinsaibashi is spacious and stylish. At the reception, smartly attired staff will tend to your needs with efficiency and friendliness. During my visit, there were a range of receptionists which is quite helpful for foreigners. One of the receptionists was ethnically Chinese, while the other had spent a few years in England and was well versed in English.

Double, Twin, Queen and even Triple rooms are available in HOTEL MYSTAYS Shinsaibashi. Regardless of your choice of room, all beds are prepared with memory foam pillows and a small feather pillow, and all room lights are controllable from the well-designed bed which also features built-in lamps. My Semi-Double room allowed for two people to sleep comfortably on the bed while the addition of a wide sofa allows additional room for sleeping our lounging. I was especially delighted with the bathroom, which was bigger than expected, offering manoeuvring space typically unseen in hotels of similar sizes in Japan. Needless to say, a complete set of shower amenities are provided as well.

Laundry can be done on the 2nd floor, where there are two brand new laundry machines available for use. The laundry facilities are coin-operated and detergent and softener are built in. The machine allows for both washing and drying together. You can also find a restaurant and massage parlor on the 1st floor and basement floor of the building respectively. There is a 7-11 convenience store right opposite the hotel, and a MOS Burger in very close proximity.

HOTEL MYSTAYS Shinsaibashi makes for an excellent accommodation for tourists visiting Osaka. Combining comfort and convenience you should definitely consider this hotel on your next trip to this amazing city.

Getting there

HOTEL MYSTAYS Shinsaibashi is a minute's walk away from the nearest City Subway Shinsaibashi Station serving the Midosuji Line. It is also a 5-minute walk to the City Subway Yotsubashi Station serving the Yotsubashi Line. From these stations, it is a 15-minute ride to the JR Shin-Osaka Shinkansen Station.
