Qantas has launched direct services from Sydney to Osaka. Normally full service flights between Australia and Japan in the peak holiday season would cost $1400 or more on JAL, Qantas or ANA, the three direct service carriers.
Until 4 August, Qantas is offering special launch fares, with all-inclusive Sydney to Osaka return Economy tickets starting from $699 for travel between 14 December-31 December 2017 / 8 January-24 March 2018, and all-inclusive Sydney to Osaka return Business tickets starting from $3,499 for travel between 14 December 2017–24 March 2018.
QF33 flies four times weekly, departing Sydney on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 0930 arriving at Osaka Kansai Airport at 1730. From Kansai there are easy connections into downtown Osaka or Kyoto. The QF34 flights from Osaka to Sydney are all in the evening at 1900 with a morning arrival into Sydney at 0645.
Until 22 Feb 2019, Qantas is offering a double status credit offer for all Qantas operated flights, including all its direct flights from Australia to Tokyo and Osaka. To apply, simply log in below and register for this offer by 11.59pm (AEDT) 22 February 2019 (all passengers in each booking must register separately to earn double Status Credits).
It is applicable for new bookings between 18 and 22 February 2019, for travel between 25 February and 31 August 2019 on any Qantas operated flight with a QF flight number. Ensure your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number is included in your booking.
