A special exhibition taking place at the Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum looks at the works of Miquel Barceló (1957 -), who is revered as a master of Spanish contemporary art. The event will showcase around 100 of Barceló's works, with pieces on display that were inspired by his travels to Paris, Africa, and even the island of Mallorca in his home country. There will be large canvas pieces, ceramic items, watercolor art, sketches, and more for attendees to enjoy.
Adult admission to the event is priced at 1200 yen, and no advance reservations are required.

The Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum is located a three minute walk from the Dejima tram stop, a five minute walk from the Nagasaki Shinchi Bus Terminal, or a 15 minute walk from the JR Nagasaki Station.
For those who plan to drive to the museum, it's located approximately 5 minutes from the Nagasaki exit on the Nagasaki Expressway. Paid parking is available on-site, and discounts are given to those who attend museum exhibitions, or the museum cafe and shop. Present your parking ticket at the entrance and the staff will validate it for you.
