If you can find yourself a quiet corner to sit in at Manshu-in Temple, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and then open them. Sit and enjoy the beauty of the garden with its deep colors, and unique design. The temple, established in the 8th century, has a charming roughness to it. The sand in the garden is not the fine delicate type you often see, but rather it is bold and dark. The designs are strong, and jump out at you. This is a great place to get a feel for who you are and what the mysteries of life are!
