Kiyomizudera is one of the most famous and beautiful temples in Japan. I visited the temple in the early morning on a day in early April and found a lot to enjoy: The views (of course!), the cherry blossoms (of course), and besides that, many little details. There was also a traveling monk who was accepting alms on the walkway up to the temple. I felt like a whole series on just him would have been possible!
