Half a day or even an entire day at Enoshima, enjoying the sites and activities is entirely doable, and depending on the season can also include swimming in the summer, and splendid views of Mt. Fuji, mainly in the winter. There are also: Caves, Cats, Cafes, and the Samuel Cocking Garden. In addition, there are some old-style restaurants, and even a few inns and onsen hot spring baths you can enjoy. I sometimes daydream about what it would be like to live on this island year-round...
