Pixar Animation Studios need no introduction. They're responsible for some of the most iconic animated movies of all time, from Toy Story and Finding Nemo to Monsters Inc. and the Incredibles. A special exhibition taking place at the Sapporo Art Park Museum in 2022 will take a look into the science behind the creation of Pixar films through a number of hands-on displays. Visitors will be able to experience everything from movie lighting effects to how 3D models are created and plenty more.

Advance tickets are scheduled for release on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022 at 10 am.

Getting there

The Sapporo Art Park Museum is located around 40 minutes from the central Sapporo area via Route 453. On site parking is available for almost 600 vehicles at a cost of 500 yen.

For those using public transport, head to Makomanai Station on the Namboku Subway Line. From there, head out to the bus terminal and take the Soranuma or Takino Line bus until you reach the Art Park entrance.
