Matsudo

Matsudo is located in north-west Chiba, parallel to the Edogawa River and offering great access to Tokyo via the JR Joban Line.

The city boasts several tourist attractions, such as the historical Tojo-tei residence and Museum of History, as well as the Yagiri-no-Watashi ferry boat crossing from the early Edo Period.

It is also known as the home of one of Japan's nationwide drug chains, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, as well as increasingly gaining a reputation as a ramen hotspot, with one of Japan's most successful shops, Tomita Ramen, based here.
