The Wa Rasse Nebuta Museum in Aomori showcases some of the most spectacular Nebuta Floats from Aomori's annual Nebutamatsuri. The museum is a great place to learn about the world famous festival and everything Nebuta. The museum walks visitors through the history of Nebuta and it's importance to Aomori City. In the main hall, visitors can view five of the most spectacular Nebuta Floats. The detail and intricacy of these floats is something that needs to be seen to be believed. The museum is located a short walk from the JR Aomori Station and is open 09:00 ~ 19:00 (May ~ Aug) and 09:00 ~ 18:00 (Sep ~ Apr). Admission is 600 yen for Adults, 450 yen for high school students, and 250 yen for elementary students.
