山口 西の京 瑠璃光寺
京都の醍醐寺・奈良の法隆寺のものとならび、ここ瑠璃光寺の塔は日本三名塔の一つに数えられ、国内でも一番美しい塔と云われている。
この五重塔の周囲には四季折々の花が咲く。私は自分が好きな新緑の鮮やかな春、今年の４月末日を選んで訪れることにした。
