There is no better way to enjoy a river than by cruising down it accompanied by a singing boatman and a few puffy clouds.
With that in mind, the Mogamigawa boat cruise is a lovely way to spend a morning in the Shonai area.
Head to Furukuchi Station and jump on a boat at the boathouse nearby for a 60 minute meander down the river.
