The fall months in Japan are filled with color, and the Tottori Flower Park will be celebrating this with an autumn festival running until the end of October. The event will showcase the beauty of approximately 100,000 salvia plants (also known as scarlet sage) set against the backdrop of Mount Oyama, along with around a million cosmos flowers.
If that wasn't enough incentive to stop by, there will also be autumn roses, chrysanthemum topiary exhibitions, hibiscus exhibitions, and changing autumn leaves to appreciate.
Admission to the park is priced at 800 yen for adults, and 400 yen for elementary and junior high school students.
Getting there
The Tottori Flower Park can be accessed via a free shuttle bus that departs from Yonago Station (Sanin Main Line, Sakai Line). The bus journey takes approximately 25 minutes.
For those who opt to drive, the flower park is around 10 minutes from the Mizokuchi IC or around 20 minutes from Yonago IC on the Yonago Expressway.
