If you've ever attended a classical music performance but found it a bit stuffy and not suitable for kids, there is a solution – Zoorasian Brass. This group was founded in 2000 with the goal of performing classical music inspired by picture book characters, so it's designed with little ones in mind!
They will be performing a special New Year's themed concert at Tokyo's Bunka Kaikan concert hall on January 4th, with two session times available – one at 1pm, and another at 4pm. All seats are priced at 3500 JPY.
If you won't be in Tokyo on January 4th, there will be additional events held in Osaka on January 6th and Nagoya on January 7th. More information can be found on the Zoorasian Brass concert website.
Getting there
The Tokyo Bunka Kaikan concert hall can be accessed in just a minute on foot from the Park Gate of JR Ueno Station.
As there is no dedicated parking lot for the venue, patrons are advised to utilize public transportation wherever possible.
