Tokyo International Forum Yurakucho

Modern architecture at its finest

John Carter   - 1 min read

It’s no surprise that Tokyo is host to some incredible architecture and though many of these buildings serve other purposes, visiting solely for the design is something I often find myself doing. Located metres from Yurakucho station is the Tokyo International Forum; a grand structure that is nothing less than incredible. The building is Tokyo’s first convention and arts centre that also contains several shops, restaurants and galleries. The Forum hosted the 2011 International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Annual Meeting, and will be hosting the weightlifting competition for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
