Tetsuya Noguchi is a Kagawa-born contemporary artist who is renowned for his quirky depictions of traditional samurai in not-so-traditional situations. From samurai on children's playground equipment to samurai holding shopping bags, his unique works have been displayed in a wide variety of exhibitions both here in Japan and abroad.

An upcoming event at Tokyo's Pola Museum of Art Annex will showcase around 40 of Noguchi's works in both 2D and 3D format, including some which have been specifically created for this exhibition.

Admission to the event is free of charge.

Getting there

The Pola Museum of Art Annex is located just a minute on foot from Ginza Itchome Station (Exit 7) , which is served by the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line. Alternatively, the venue can be accessed in around 6 minutes on foot from Exit A9 of Ginza Station, which is served by the Tokyo Metro Ginza, Marunouchi, and Hibiya Lines.
