If you're looking for a fun indoor activity this winter, the Naked Snow Aquarium at Maxell Aqua Park Shinagawa brings the beauty of projection mapping to a family-friendly venue. Running from late December until late February, the event will include digital displays of snow, ice, and polar lights in harmony with the marine creatures at the aquarium.
Admission to the Naked Snow Aquarium is priced at ¥ 2300 for adults (classed as high school students and above), ¥ 1200 for elementary and junior high school students, and ¥ 700 for children below elementary school age.
Getting there
Maxell Aqua Park is located an easy two minutes on foot from Shinagawa Station's Takanawa Exit. The station is served by various lines including the Tōkaidō Shinkansen line, the JR Yamanote line, and the JR Keihin-Tōhoku line.
