From late April to early May, Tokyo Midtown invites visitors to relax and celebrate the arrival of spring at MIDTOWN OPEN THE PARK. Set against the backdrop of Midtown’s expansive green lawn, this outdoor event offers a refreshing escape right in the heart of the city.
Guests can spread out a picnic blanket, unwind on the lush grass, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the season. A lively market will feature drink tastings and a variety of food stalls, perfect for sampling some tasty treats.

Since this event takes place over the Golden Week holiday stretch, another highlight is the Koinobori Gallery, where colorful carp streamers "swim" in the breeze, symbolizing wishes for the health and happiness of young people in anticipation of Children's Day on May 5th. Families and visitors can also take part in workshops and activities designed to reconnect with nature and promote mindfulness, offering a welcome pause from the city’s fast pace.

Please note that while there is no admission fee to attend the event, certain activities have participation fees. Also, bring yen if you plan on purchasing food or drink items.
