Magic: The Gathering is a popular card game which was first released in 1993, and it combines elements of strategy, fantasy, and competitive gameplay. Players assume the roles of powerful wizards and engage in duels by casting spells, summoning creatures, and using various strategies to defeat their opponents.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the much-loved game, Shibuya's Miyashita Park is hosting a Magic: The Gathering event from September 1st until September 10th. It's set to include original card drawings and other unique game-related works on display, limited-edition merchandise available for purchase, and even special themed drinks at the Player's Lounge.
This is a paid event, with on-the-day admission priced at ¥1500.
