Koishikawa Korakuen is one of Tokyo’s oldest and greatest Japanese gardens, located just next to Tokyo Dome City. A wonderful array of ponds, stones, trees, walking trails and man-made hills provide vantage points to view this spectacular garden.
I spent two glorious hours there in autumn, enjoying the brilliant red and orange hues of the Japanese maples, and golden yellow ginkgo trees. Superb.
