<p>A quiet place away from the busy life of Tokyo, particularly on a rainy day like this.</p>

<p>The skate court; only here you are allowed to use your skateboard.</p>

<p>A talk and a walk with the best friend</p>

<p>No matter where you go, I'll follow!</p>

<p>The stillness around makes you forget everything, particularly on a rainy day like this.</p>

<p>Apt place for jogging. Walking around the park would take more than 2 hours I think; at least it feels that large!</p>

<p>Makes you go back being a child again </p>

<p>A cycle track dedicated to cyclists, and the cyclists looked happy after the rain had stopped. </p>

<p>To be honest, I already felt exhausted from walking, so I had no energy to even try any of these!</p>

<p>On of the basketball courts; the park has three in total. </p>

<p>The park has a number of such drinking water fountains—very convenient!</p>

<p>If you want to go there by car, no problem. There's ample parking space available for visitors. </p>

Koganei Koen (koen stands for "park") is the second-largest park in the Tokyo metropolitan area and is located about 25 minutes from Shinjuku by train. The closest station is called Higashi-koganei and from there it is about a 20-minute walk. The park has multiple entries and exits, so you might want to keep checking you locations on the various maps or route boards. There is so much tranquility there, so if you are looking for a quiet time from your busy life in Tokyo, this is the place you should be!
