There are many Oktoberfest-inspired events that take place across Japan, and the Kichijoji Beer and Walk is one of them. Taking place at the Coppice Kichijoji shopping complex, the event will include various German beers to try, a selection of authentic German foods that pair well with the beers on offer, and live performances of German folk songs.
If you do plan to attend, please note that the event hours differ depending on the day (2024 information):
- Friday, October 11: 4pm–9pm
- Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13: 11am–9pm
- Monday, October 14: 11am–7pm
There is no admission fee to enjoy the atmosphere of the event, but bring yen if you plan on making food or drink purchases.
