Hotel Mystays Premier Omori is located less than ten minutes walk from Omori station and is quite popular with local and international guests alike for its convenient location and amazing service.
From the beginning I noticed the reception staff are very friendly and able to assist in English. I left my key in the room one of the nights and staff gave me another one without any hassle. They do not have perfect English, but were able to communicate well and take care of my needs effectively. Checking in and out was quite easy as well. You can check in at 3:00pm and check out is at 11:00am.
The hotel has a wide range of rooms to choose from, hosting one to four guests. Depending on the direction you face and the floor you are on, you may be able to get some nice night views of Tokyo. The rooms themselves are quite large and all rooms have included bathrooms with a shower and bath. Depending on your selection the rooms will also have chairs, a sofa, a desk and other options. The hotel includes the finest of amenities such as shampoos, lotions, facial powders and much more. Each room is equipped with high speed internet and the hotel even offers services such as massage rooms, flower arrangements, laundry service and baggage holding service. There are also numerous areas and lounges around the hotel to take a rest, work on your computer or read a book.
There is an outstanding selection of food options that can be found within and around the hotel. The first of these is the included free breakfast which hosts a great selection of both western and Japanese favorites. There is an early morning option from 4:00am to 7:00am or a standard breakfast served from 7:00am to 10:00am. There are also dinner and lunch buffets that change throughout the year based on the seasonal selection. One great option is an all-you-can-drink course of over 15 different alcohols for less than 1,000 yen. If you have a large event there are also banquet rooms and courses available for 10 people, 20 people or more upon reservation. If you want to get outside there is a large shopping center called Omori Bellport that has several floors, interesting modern architecture and various restaurants including a nice Indian restaurant called Masala. Seiyu Omori, a large supermarket, is also located within a short walk away.
Being in the center of Tokyo, there is no shortage of available sightseeing options and activities. During my stay in early August I was pleasantly surprised to walk outside and find a festival going on in the middle of the street. The main attraction in the area is Shinagawa Aquarium and visitors staying at the hotel get a 10% discount off entry. There is a range of over 450 species of beautiful marine life including dolphins, sharks and sea lions. A few large parks in the area are also great to visit, especially for families. Right across the road from the hotel is a Lawson convenience store with various cheap food options and if you walk towards Omori station there are quite a few restaurants and cafes along the road.
In short, the location is perfect and perhaps the strongest point. The hotel is situated in close proximity to Omori station a short walk outside the front door. From the station there are a number of famous attractions located within a short train ride. These attractions include Odaiba, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Sky Tree, Tokyo Disneyland, Asakusa, Yokohama Chinatown and much, much more.
