Hotel Mystays Premier Hamamatsucho, located right in the center of Tokyo, is one of the most convenient hotels for tourists planning to see the big city. Less than five minutes walk from both Hamamatsucho Station and Daimon station this hotel is linked to all of Tokyo.
The staff members are friendly and have an acceptable level of English. The reception area is open 24/7 and there is always someone around if you have any needs. They have a total of 120 rooms available and various rooms catering from 1-4 people, I was impressed with the size of the room compared to other places I have stayed in Japan. Included with in all rooms is free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a small refrigerator, 32-inch TV, toiletries, shaving sticks, shampoos, towels, soaps and more. Depending on the room type, there are desk, chair, and sofa options and all rooms have a very clean and spacious bathroom area.
The check in process was very fast and the staff were friendly. After opening my room, which was located on the 9th floor, I immediately went to the window as there are nice views of the city from most directions. The king sized bed was comfortable and it was very quiet during the night despite being in the middle of Tokyo. There is an information booklet with details about the location and facilities in English which was quite helpful.
The food options are plentiful and quite memorable. Every morning a complimentary breakfast is available just behind the reception area. From 4:30 to 7:00 there is a morning snack and from 7:00 to 10:00 a full breakfast buffet is available with Japanese and Western options. There is a range of meats, breads, juices, teas and vegetables and I was very impressed with the quality of food. Within a short distance of the restaurant you can also find delicious Japanese restaurants with recommendations including sushi, yakiniku, ramen, okonomiyaki and Japanese izakaya style bars and restaurants.
Perhaps the strongest point of the hotel is its convenient location. Numerous attractions are within walking distance including Tokyo Tower, Zojoji Temple & the World Trade Center building. The latter has multiple restaurants inside so you can eat while taking in magnificent views of the Tokyo skyline from the 40th floor. For a relaxing time, visit the Kyu Shiba Rikyu Garden Park which is quite close by and is a nice escape from the streets. There are also convenient store as well as multiple cafes, karaoke, bars and restaurants to keep you entertained. From the two nearby stations (Hamamatsucho and Daimon) you can reach some of Tokyo's most famous tourist destinations. Nearby attractions include Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Sky Tree, Asakusa, Hamarikyu Gardens, Odaiba, Tokyo Disney and much more. The hotel is about 20 minutes to Haneda Airport on the Tokyo monorail and an hour form Narita Airport making this a perfect destination to settle into town after a long flight.
In general I was impressed with this hotel, specifically the range of foods available for breakfast and the amazing location. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to explore Tokyo or seeking a relaxing place to rest during your trip. The location is peaceful, safe and has a lot to offer. If I come back to Tokyo I will certainly stay here again.
