Travelers eager to experience Japan’s famous arcade scene have a brand-new hotspot to explore. GiGO Chofu opened on July 15th, and offers three floors of nonstop fun with over 320 machines spread across 1,650 square meters of space.

Just 15 minutes by train from Shinjuku, the arcade is conveniently located in the Chofu CF Building, directly in front of Chofu Station’s south exit. The surrounding area is filled with shops and restaurants, making it a perfect half-day outing from central Tokyo.
Each floor offers something different. The first and second floors are geared toward casual play, with rows of crane games, interactive machines, and family-friendly attractions like purikura (sticker photo booths). Head to the third floor for medal games, rhythm games, and large-scale titles geared toward more serious gamers. In total, the venue features 174 crane machines, 65 medal games, 28 music games, and more.

To mark the grand opening, visitors who register for the GiGO app at the Chofu location will receive a free GiGO Soda. Exclusive prizes and special events are also on offer, with helpful staff on hand to guide you through app registration and digital payment options.

If you’re a nostalgic gamer, anime fan, or simply looking for a fun indoor escape (perfect for hot or rainy days!), GiGO Chofu is a great way to get a taste of Japan’s arcade culture in an easy to reach location. The venue is open daily from 10:00 until 23:30, and for more information please visit the official website.
