It's also extremely easy to access thanks to Asakusa Station, which serves as something of a tourist hub since it's operated by by three separate rail companies —Tobu Railway, Tokyo Metro, and Toei Subway.
The station itself is located smack bang in the middle of Asakusa's best attractions, with the likes of Sensoji Temple, Nakamise Shopping Street, and Sumida River cruise boarding points located mere minutes away on foot. For the retail therapy fans, there's even the Ekimise mall which has direct access to the station itself. The mall has a bit of everything on offer, including clothing, cosmetics, food, electronics, and even a JPY100 store if you're on the hunt for a bargain or several. A little secret for many overseas visitors is the Ekimise rooftop terrace; a must-visit, as it offers some gorgeous views of the famous Tokyo Skytree tower and the rest of the city.

It's just a minute away on foot and filled with amenities that are helpful for travelers. English-speaking staff, brochures in multiple languages, free Wi-Fi, restrooms, and even an observation deck with great views of the surrounding area are just some of the things you'll find there. Even if you don't need any travel tips, the center is a design lover's dream — it's the work of renowned architect Kengo Kuma and its wooden contemporary detail really stands out.
