The Ao no Kirameki illumination event at Waters Takeshiba is running from late November until the end of January, and it's set to include an array of lights adorning the venue's entrance, grand staircase, and lawn square. The latter is a particularly lovely spot thanks to the views of the Tokyo skyline you can enjoy as a backdrop.

Within the event, there will also be a special projection mapping display taking place for 11 days from December 15th (Friday) to December 25th (Monday), under the theme of Blue Miracle.
The illuminations run from 4pm until 11pm throughout the event dates, and the limited-time projection mapping displays will run from 5pm until 9.05pm. Admission is free of charge.
Getting there
Waters Takeshiba is located just six minutes on foot from the north exit of Hamamatsuchō Station. The station is served by the Keihin–Tōhoku Line, the Yamanote Line, and the Tokyo Monorail Haneda Airport Line.
