Open to the public since 22 May 2012, the 634m of Tokyo Skytree make it the tallest tower in the world, and the second tallest structure, losing only to Burj Khalifa from Dubai.
Located in Sumida, Tokyo, it has an interesting story surrounding its height. When separated, 634 become 6 (mu), 3 (sa), 4 (shi), in Japanese. Well, Musashi is an old name for the region where the Tower presently stands! This way anyone can remember how tall it is!
