'Village in the Sky' at Iya Valley, Tokushima, is one of the hidden treasures in Japan. I visited here on November 3 in 2011.
As the village is located deep in the mountains, leaves were already changing colors. Unfortunately, a cold rain started to fall.
It's very difficult to hold a camera and an umbrella at the same time. I was going to wait till the rain stopped, but the beauty of the brilliant wet leaves inspired me. I asked my wife to drive instead of me, and moved to the rear seat. I opened the car window, and started to take photos furiously. I didn't have to hold an umbrella. I am a genius!
