Latest on Miho Museum

Deep in the hills of Shiga Prefecture, near the pottery town of Shigaraki, is a world famous art museum. I can't actually remember any of the art I saw at Miho Museum, but I'll never forget the airy, spacious building lined with honey-colored tiles of polished stone. Large windows allow the ever-changing light and views of forested hills to flow into the space unimpeded. It is a beautiful building. The art simply couldn't compete.
