Sweet potato fans, rejoice! A five day event at the Saitama Super Arena focuses on these much-loved root vegetables, with sweet potato growers from across the country gathering to showcase their produce.
At this year's event, a spotlight will be placed on sweet potatoes grown in colder regions of Japan, which aren't as well known as some of their warmer climate counterparts.
Almost 30 stalls selling baked sweet potatoes and other foods containing sweet potato will be present at the expo, with the full menu lineup to be posted on the official site closer to the event dates.
